Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SkillPass (a product by InnovativaLab, at innovativalab.com and skillpass.innovativalab.com) you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What SkillPass is

An evidence-based talent platform: instead of a resume, you build a Capability Profile from real technical evaluations and work simulations. Applying is always free, you'll never have to pay to create your profile or apply to a search.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• The service is intended for people 16 and older.
• Information you give us has to be real: a Capability Profile built on false data doesn't help anyone, not you, not the companies reading it.

4. Acceptable use

Not allowed:

• Trying to game or manipulate the evaluations/simulations (for example, to get the system to score you artificially high in a way that doesn't reflect your real ability; see business_model.md §8.4 on why this directly undermines the evidence you're building).
• Using someone else's account, or creating fake accounts.
• Attempting unauthorized access to parts of the system, or interfering with its normal operation.
• Using the service for illegal purposes.

5. Your content and your Capability Profile

Your Capability Profile is yours, you decide what to share and with whom. InnovativaLab uses the evidence you generate (simulation transcripts, evaluation results) to build that profile and to improve the product, never to sell it to third parties. The platform itself (the code, the simulations, the rubrics, the brand) is InnovativaLab's property.

6. Paid plans

The product is free today. If paid features are added later (premium labs, intensive programs, see business_model.md §12.3), they will never block your ability to apply or see basic opportunities: that stays free always.

7. No guarantee of outcomes, no absolute certification

The Capability Profile is evidence of performance in a controlled scenario, not a guarantee you'll get hired or an absolute certification of your abilities. Hiring decisions are made by companies, not by us.

8. The service is provided "as is"

We're in MVP validation stage (mvp_plan.md): the service may have bugs, changes, or interruptions. We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee full availability or the absence of errors.

9. Suspension or account closure

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these terms (for example, trying to game the evaluation system). You can delete your account whenever you want, see Privacy & cookies for what happens to your data when you do.

10. Changes to these terms

If something changes in a meaningful way, we'll reflect it here with the date above updated.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any question: legal@innovativalab.com.
