Privacy & cookies

1. Who we are

SkillPass is a product by InnovativaLab. This policy applies to innovativalab.com and skillpass.innovativalab.com, and to any product added later under the same domain.

2. What data we collect

• SkillPass account: email and password (we never see your password in plain text, Supabase Auth handles it, hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google name and email.
• Resume checker (/cv-check): your resume never leaves your browser. It's analyzed right there, by rules, no AI, never uploaded to any server of ours.
• Simulations and evaluations (once available): transcripts of the conversation with the agents and evidence of your performance, to build your Capability Profile.
• Site usage: pages visited, time on site, where you came from, only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 5).

3. What we use it for

To provide the service (create your account, show your profile, authenticate you), to understand what parts of the product work or don't and improve them, and to communicate with you about your account. We don't use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Providers we need to operate, never to sell your data or for advertising:

• Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google Analytics: site usage analytics, only if you accepted cookies.
• AWS: where the server hosting the application runs.

5. Cookies we use

• Essential: the session cookie that keeps you logged into SkillPass. It's httpOnly (JavaScript can't read it) and can't be disabled without losing your login.
• Preferences: light/dark theme and your choice on this same policy, stored in your browser (localStorage), not a traditional cookie. They don't identify you and never leave your device.
• Analytics (Google Analytics): cookies like _ga and _ga_*, only activated if you tap "Accept" on the banner. You can reject them and the site works the same.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Write to privacidad@innovativalab.com and we'll handle it directly, no unnecessary process.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you delete it, we remove your personal data unless we have to keep something for a specific legal obligation.

8. Minors

SkillPass is intended for people 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

If something changes in a meaningful way, we'll reflect it here with the date above updated. It's a good idea to check back once in a while.
